How to turn off the voice mail light on the Coral family of telephone systems
A stuck voicemail light can be caused under two circumstances:
1. The voicemail system becomes out of sync with the phone system. This is rare and most voicemail systems have a mechanism in place to prevent this.
2. The message waiting light was activated by another telephone on the system. This feature allows a user to light a message waiting light on someone else's phone. Generally, this feature is not used because is causes confusion about where the message is coming from. The system can be programmed to prevent this from happening.
